Carlyle’s investment professionals are involved in the deal sourcing, analysis, execution, monitoring and exit of private equity investments. Hiring is typically done by fund. Carlyle seeks individuals with a demonstrated history of academic and professional achievement.

Associate Hiring

Our investment funds hire associates and senior associates annually in numbers that depend on various factors such as market conditions and anticipated global needs. We typically begin recruiting for our associates in the spring with a start date beginning the following summer. Carlyle has a formal two-year associate program for many of its U.S.-based funds. Associates have successfully completed an undergraduate degree with a strong GPA, and have at least two years of investment banking or consulting work experience. Carlyle’s senior associates have generally obtained their MBA and have at least three to four years of prior private equity, investment banking and/or consulting work experience.

Carlyle’s talented Investor Services team provides support to all Carlyle offices globally. Investor Services includes professionals in the following areas:
