Anders Hörnqvist Joins The Carlyle Group’s Nordic Real Estate Team

Stockholm, Sweden – Global private equity firm The Carlyle Group today announces that Anders Hörnqvist, previously Executive Vice President and Director of Properties at Fabege, the Swedish property company, has joined Carlyle’s Stockholm-based real estate team as a Director.


Anders is responsible for real estate asset management across all Nordic projects, including property development, leasing and sales. He will work alongside Thomas Lindstrom, Managing Director, who established Carlyle’s Nordic real estate operation in June 2006. Carlyle has made seven investments in the region to date, in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Helsinki.


Anders has been with major Swedish property company Fabege since 1998. He is also Member of the Board of Fastighetsägarna, Stockholm. Previously he was Director of Properties at Fastighets AB Storheden and Property Manager in Granit & Beton AB.
