Park Water Company obtains regulatory approval for transfer of ownership

Downey, CA - Park Water Company today announced that the California Public Utilities Commission approved the transfer of ownership of Park Water to Western Water Holdings LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Carlyle Infrastructure Partners, L.P. The approval of the transfer is subject to a number of specified conditions which Park Water has agreed to. Christopher Schilling, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Park Water stated, “We are delighted the CPUC approved the transaction. This move is in the best interests of both our customers and our dedicated employees. We will be in a better position to fulfill our responsibilities to provide quality reliable service in the future. “ “The California Public Utilities Commission process has been thorough and this decision is an important milestone in the process of transferring ownership of the utility from the Wheeler family to Carlyle," said Schilling. The CPUC acknowledged in their approval that there was no change in rates or service as a consequence of the change in shareholder ownership.
